A handful of corporations control seed, fertilizer, and equipment prices while also dominating the markets where farmers sell their grain and livestock. That means farmers pay more to produce and get less when they sell, while corporate middlemen pocket the difference. On top of that, foreign interests are buying up American farmland, threatening both our food security and our national security. Jim believes farming should reward the people who do the work, not corporations or foreign powers. In the Senate, he will fight to keep farmland in American hands, restore fair markets, and ensure family farms can thrive for generations to come.
